These are photos I took yesterday before Oogie died. I did not have the heart to blog last evening but thought I would post them now. At least I can remember it was a nice day before he died.

Sorry for your loss. I know words can never make us understand the turns nature and life take. I lost a colt 2 years ago and still to this day I get sick to my stomach when I walk in the barn where I found him. We try are hardest to do our best and that is all we can do. Every season has a reason.

You are right Krista. Now I will have more time and energy to enjoy the healthy goat kids we have.
I am so sorry to hear about Oogie. Maybe there is a reason for such a beautiful day as he left the world. It is a reminder that we must endure the sadness to truly be grateful for the beauty around us.

Thanks Nancy, and you are right, no more pain, no more injections. I am trying to enjoy the other kids and am anxiously awaiting lambs, bunnies and more kids. The pain should get better with this.
