Max

Our oldest cat Max died today.  We called him our “Mountain Cat” because he was found as a feral kitten living on a mountain.  He was 17 years old.  He was tougher than nails.  After he moved homes once he went to live in the woods out back of the place, and we did not see him for six months.  And then he just decided to come home like nothing ever happened.  He would always stand up in fight whether it be dog or cat.  Here he is confronting our beagle.

He usually did not like the other cats, but here is photo evidence of him sleeping with Doogie.

He seemed to like it when we moved to the farm.  He had room to roam and go inside and outside as he pleased.  He has been a fixture in our lives and will be sorely missed.

So sorry to hear of Max’s passing. He sounds like he was a real character and lived his life to the ‘max’. It’s always so hard to lose them, because as small as they are they live an awful big space. Take care,
    Tammy

Sorry to hear about Max. 17 years is a good, long time for a cat to live. I can understand why it would not seem the same without him. hang in there.
