Eeks. I was afraid that might be the case. Its been comin’ down like crazy. Still no progress with the development up on the ridge, eh?

So far it has not gotten to the barns. The rams have been evacuated from their field. No progress with the development, lawyers, or the government “help”.

I enjoyed the song. It sure went with your slide show. wow, you’re really getting it. I pray the flood water does not reach your barn or house. We are in the midst of a nasty mud season over here in the Chelan mountains. My LEAST favorite time of year! Please take care.

Thanks Jackie! The song is about the 1927 Mississippi flood so our flooding definitely pales by comparison. But one thing I have learned in Skagit county is how eerily destructive flood waters are and how relatively helpless we are. And I think the song conveys that. It is by Eric Bibb, one of my favorite blues artists.
The waters never reached our buildings so we are lucky again. I hope you do well with your mud.
