Lambing began yesterday morning here. This little guy was born around 5:00 AM. I found him at 5:30 and dried him, and dipped his umbilical cord. I stripped Wink’s teats to make sure he had access to colostrum and headed off to work. Two more ewes to go!
While we wait I thought I would provide more cute goat photos (more cute lamb photos should be soon!).
The last goaty photo is so very sweet. If only we had fewer sheep….sigh.
Thanks Lois! Well, we have too many sheep (although not as many as you do) but still have goats. They are adorable, and I love their milk.
