This was the view this morning when I went out to do animal chores. It sure looked like we had two dead rams, but they were just sleeping in the rare sunbeams. The big task of the day was bringing 3 goat kids into the vet to be disbudded. We have him do it with the aid of sedation and local anesthesia. While they were out we banded them too. Here are Al and Scoobie sleeping it off on the dining room floor. Pacino kept trying to walk and jump while falling over so I have him on my lap currently.
Last is just a cute goat shot from yesterday. Four kids were all trying to take a nap on the heating pad.
Great pictures of the rams! No vet for us, we traded two dozen fresh eggs and a bag of lamb chops to have my friend come over and do the disbudding!
