This last weekend we went to the Mount Baker Blues Festival, our second time. We brought Bluesie with us and had a great time. The best performance on Friday (in our humble opinion), was Poppa Chubby.
The highlight of Saturday was Foghat. Although the hair throwing was hilarious,
they did a great job with an anthem of our childhoods, Slow Ride.
Sunday morning started out with Nick.
Crowd watching was great fun.
And next was one of our favorites, Junkyard Jane.
A little later was Rick Estrin,
with Kid Anderson.
The festival ended with Ana Popovic, an amazing guitarist.
And we left with a pretty sunset, very happy.
Looks like a great day! I loved the video clips – Papa Chubby sounded amazing. I’ll have to be on the lookout for him – is he local /Northwest?
Thanks Maureen! He was amazing. He is from New York. I think this may have been his second time in our state.
