We picked up a peahen today to befriend our lonely peacock. Above she is in the chicken pen with the kennel door just opened. Below is the peacock looking down at her from the pen’s wall.
And here they are together for the first time.
Hopefully this will be a beautiful friendship.

And Mr. Peacock says “oh boy, a new chick on the block” 🙂 Looks like that barn project was a LOT of work, but definitely worth it- especially to keep those dirty starlings out!
Glad you had a nice T’giving – We were at Nancy G’s and it was delicious. I continue to get a little bit better every day – you know how long it takes back injuries to heal. We ordered a new bed today – the one we have is only two years old, but it had fallen off on the sides – horribly uncomfortable. (at least they gave us $900 credit towards a new one) I’m hoping this new Tempurpedic will be the start of something good for both our backs. T.
