I lifted most (but not all) of 14 tons of hay. Tom did too. Thankfully we had outstanding help from Tom’s kid Thomas and Sharon’s kid Josh. But I am tired!
Every year I still hear in my brain “14 tons, what do you get?, another day older and deeper in debt”.
But it is a huge relief to know that we have hay for our critter for the winter. It is a great feeling and will be greater after I recover. Plus there were no trips to the ER this year. The weather was reasonably cooperative as well. And it was all done by noon. So great success.
I’m really impressed! That’s a huge amount of hay. I’m thankful there was no need for any trips to the ER. Those are not fun.
It is huge for us. I would rather stay out of the ER.

Hello. I won’t ever forget the growing up on farms and doing hay, something I sometimes miss and sometimes I don’t miss. I hope you had a chance to recover.
There is a sense of accomplishment but glad it is over.
