I made ham last Wednesday for dinner before heading to Winthrop. Our Canadian friends Anne and Jeff were coming to stay with us, and I thought leftover ham would be good at the Festival. I remember my grandmother baking ham with pineapple slices and maraschino cherries so wanted to try that. I have my homemade maraschino cherries so thought it would be fun. I found this recipe. I stacked three of our smaller hams up to make a big ham and dolled it up with mustard glaze, cloves, pineapple slices and cherries with toothpicks. Above is what it looked like before cooking, and below was after. I left it in the over a little long for reasons I will blog about soon. But the inside meat was moist and tasty. Yum!

That looks sooo yummy! Also beautiful!
It was yummy. Not as beautiful after the overcooking though.
