Here is the tree we chose and Tom starting to cut it down.
And here is Tom hauling it back to our truck.
Then we went to Everybody’s Store for sandwiches and supplies, probably for the last time.

Are Jeff & Amy retiring and selling? I lived in the brown craftmans house on the corner from 1974 to 1976 and their girls were little. That seems like a hundred years ago. Beautiful tree!
My understanding is that they could not sell it so are just shutting down and retiring. We did get a chance to talk to Amy yesterday (Tom has known them for forever). So if you know anybody who wants to take over a beloved local business, please let them know.
