This was from this morning at sunrise today at 7:58 am.
And here it was when we actually saw the sun coming over the mountain 58 minutes later.
And here is is 64 minutes after “sunrise” when the sun actually hits the grounds and the animals.
And here is sunset today at 4:16 pm.
So for the next 6 months our days are going to lengthen. Happy Solstice everyone!

I was kind of hoping it would be cloudy. Then it would appear more dark and gloomy like it usually is here. But this way I got to pinpoint where the sun actually shows up here on the solstice. Now I need to remember to do the same thing on the longest day of the year.
