Mom and I rented a car in Stockholm and drove to Tyresta National Park. There we hiked a trail to a couple of lakes there.
Then we had a nice lunch near the visitors center,
And took a hike on their medieval forest trail.
Then we headed to the ferry dock with a trip to the grocery store which was fascinating.
We mostly slept on the ~3 hour ferry trip but also had nice dinners, read and knit.
We found our apartment in Visby with some difficulty but slept well for exploring Gotland.
What a fascinating place! Beautiful scenery, and the grocery store is really interesting!

P..S. The cakes/desserts are beautifully done! Did you sample anything?
We did not. I was mostly fascinated to know that Princess Cakes are a real thing here.
