Cold November Day

This is the thermometer in our feed shed this morning.  Our more reliable thermometers near our house said 20 degrees which I think is more accurate.  But either way it was cold.

This cold weather is hard on our older animals.  Last night an old Buff Orpington hen succumbed.  It kind of looked like she fell asleep.

Olivia has a foot abscess.  Here she is soaking in a warm Epsom salt solution.  She also received antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory.  Hopefully she recovers quickly.

This afternoon we had some family over for the Apple Cup.  We had fajitas and sangria and cheered the Dawgs on to a victory!

Brrr! That’s cold all right! I’m in Idaho and its about that temp here, plus windy! I’m not used to this!
    I’m enjoying my kids, though!

I hope Olivia will be all right!

I’m very sorry that has happened! Let me know what you do.
