Sunday Cooking

This morning I did the animal chores while Tom washed eggs for sale and cider bottles for next year’s cider. When I came back in he surprised me with these.

They are Lemon Blueberry Danish. And they are yummy. We still have lots of frozen blueberries from last year so Tom used some up.

For dinner I made Tennessee Whiskey Pork Chops.

The recipe was from America’s Test Kitchen Hometown Favorites, but the linked recipe is identical. I used my George Dickel Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey which was hard to do. But it was really tasty.

The sauce was good on the corn too. So I used our porks chops and corn on the cob and drank my quince- Asian pear cider. It was a farm meal!

Thanks Jeanne. I think he mostly made the Danish for himself but I was a beneficiary too. I get to see the grandkids today so looking forward to it!
