Zucchini, Plum and Apple Season

We have lots of zucchinis again.  The chickens are enjoying them, and I have been making dried zucchini chips with my new dehydrator.

I prepared 30# of plums that Tom picked for me on the back porch while drinking the very last of last year’s wine.  I still have 30# to go.

Tom has been pressing apples for cider.  The animals are enjoying the leftover apple pulp.

You have been very busy! That’s a lot of plums to take care of – do you make jam or jelly, or what??. I enjoyed the pictures o of the critters snarfing down the leftovers. The pigs are a riot!

It is fun to watch them enjoy new tastes. I make wine with the plums.

i know plum wine would be good. I don’t do alcohol at all, since it affects me badly. I used to enjoy a sip of my husband’s wine, but then even stopped that. I do okay without it.
