Animals’ faces

I was inspired by http://sheeprus.blogspot.com/2009/02/faces-of-our-friends.html to take photos of our animals’ faces and post the better ones. I realized that although I admire and study their faces, I never photograph them- just their whole bodies. Their faces say a lot about their personalities, thoughts and moods and is how I come to love them. So here’s the photos I took today (warning there are a lot!):

Lots of beautiful faces there, and some that made me really smile. Thanks!

Thanks Michelle, I think they are all gorgeous and expressive, but I am horribly biased!

Great pictures! We had fun looking at them and laughing, they were so cute. What a good idea!Jackie

Thanks for the compliment! It was not my idea though, but I deeply enjoyed taking and editing the photos!

Great pictures of the animal faces!! I’m like you, rarely take pictures of just the face, more often the whole animal. I especially like the one of your higland (Dana??) That one could be framed.

  6. Donna says:

Thanks for the compliments. We could frame the Highland cow photo of Dana- Highlands are so photogenic anyway (and majestic in their own ornery way!).
