This is the blog for our little farm in Skagit county. Here we have Shetland sheep and Nigerian Dwarf goats. In addition we have donkeys, cattle, pigs, chickens, geese, and peafowl. The blog describes the weekly activities here.
And Denise, I did use the easter eggs dye. I saw this on an Angora blog and thought since I had leftover dye I would try it. I just threw raw white Satin Angora wool in. As it has dried it has become more pastel in color but pretty. I think I will throw each color separately on the drum carder and then spin each color in succession, yellow, green, blue, purple, red, pink. I have not gotten as far as to figure out plying yet. Maybe it with some white Shetland wool.
FUN!
😉
Happy Easter
Happy Easter Donna and Tom!
Love the eggs!
Did you dye the bunny wool with easter egg coloring?
I’ve never tried that- only kool aid!
Thanks guys. I hope you all had nice Easters.
