A Complete Recovery!

Patsy and Bambam Too appear to have made a complete recovery!  They seemed fine in their pen so we let them out with the skinny sheep and goats, and they are walking around fine, wanting to be with the big flock.  What a turnaround.  It is still a mystery illness but something helped.  I should get our trace mineral analysis soon.  Hopefully that will give us an answer.

This is just a gratuitous cute goat photo.  It’s Magpie using her kid Mavis as a pillow to take an afternoon nap.

In non-farm news, Tom and I celebrated our wedding anniversary yesterday by going to Tacoma.  We stayed at the Hotel Murano, ate at the Hob Nob (best breakfast ever), went to the Lemay Museum, bought defective Almond Rocha, went antiquing (did not buy anything though), ate dinner at Stanley and Seafort’s and then went to a Rainiers game.  It was a very nice anniversary for us.  If anyone is interested, there’s photos of the Lemay museum at http://s1175.photobucket.com/albums/r639/Donna_Schoonover/

So glad to see Patsy and BamBamToo up and about! So what’s the deal with the defective Almond Roca?

This is GREAT news – I’m so glad to hear they’re both recovered! I do hope you find out what it was though, to avoid having it potentially happen again. And Happy Anniversary! Sounds like you had a nice little getaway.

Oh Happy Anniversary! Glad you had a good time away. That defective Almond Roca is the best – When I was in college I had a girlfriend who used to go out with one of the Almond Roca company’s son on dates – he would always bring her a can of Almond Roca for a present. I’d have kept that guy around! Ha Ha.

Sorry the babies are sick again – hope they get better soon. T.

Thanks Tina! I am enjoying the Almond Roca. The lambs are getting better again. We will move them out with the flock and hope for the best.
