I was doing a photo shoot of Monette’s lambs for the Lambs For Sale page, and some of the pictures are so cute I had to share them here. Above she is with all three of them. Below is the black ram lamb Velvet with his sister Bette.

There is something about lambs that warms my heart.
They are precious, and, believe me, Midwest hearts need warming real bad these days. Yesterday when three of my ewes gave birth, there was snow from the night before and more flurries during the day. Not good lambing weather for me.

Thanks Jody. She is doing well but still seems tired. She is not interested in grain but I got some alfalfa cubes for her yesterday and she liked those. She needs to keep her nutrition up.
