at Bow Little Market was today. Above is our tent with felted scarves, yarn, roving and wool fleece for sale. Below is where I was spinning with my miniSpinner, and Tom and I made baling twine rope.
There were a few fiber artists there. This is the sky scarf that Deborah made (partly with our wool). It represents the color of the sky each day for one year.
And this is Allen demonstrating one of his amazing spindles to Pat.
It was a great way to spend the day, in my mind.
Looks wonderful!
Thanks Michelle!
I agree! The black/peacock roving that I bought from you is wonderful!
Thanks! So glad you like it 🙂
Donna,
Thanks for sharing how to braid baling twine into rope. It was my favorite demonstration. I am working on our Chuckanut Transition newsletter for September and am going to provide a link to this page. Great pictures! I love the one of Deborah Gorr’s Sky Scarf. Bill and Gilda had told me about it, but I didn’t get a chance to look at it at the market.
Sarai
Thanks Sarai! I am glad you enjoyed the demonstration and the photos.
