Apple Pickin’

marks treesToday Tom and I both had the day off so we went out in search of apples to pick.  We picked from an old tree (a Gravenstein?) from a home now long gone near the freewat.  We also picked the above old orchard at a now-defunct dairy.  We got probably 200# of apples from these old beautiful trees.

the tree I am talking about has three other types of apples grafted on to it.. this was common when my grandparents were farming many years ago.
