I have been noticing birds more recently with the change to autumn weather on our farm.   Above are our chicks growing up and now roosting well of the ground at night.  Below is a flock of birds circling the neighbor’s field.

The geese have been flying in from the north over us as well, very majestic to see.  Below is the sunrise from this morning while I was doing animal chores.

I have decided to take a rare day off of farming (now that the morning animal chores are over).  I am going to have a fiber day.  I hope to finish spinning Hershey‘s moorit fleece finally and find time to weave some placemats, all with the NFL on the TV.
