We hatched them in 2006. They were beautiful and well-behaved roosters . They were too scrawny to eat so their poor meat and egg producing genetics likely are still with us. But they put smiles on our faces for 10 years with their presence. The last rooster I had been feeding bread to daily, but today he was barely interested and so skinny. And then he died. He will get a special burial spot in our yard in his and his brothers’ memories.
