Wettest October?

Per US National Weather Service Seattle Washington, Sea-Tac Airport received 0.12″ from 8 AM to 9 AM, making the October rainfall total 9.06 inches. This breaks the previous record for wettest October for Seattle of 8.96 inches back in 2003.

But for us, it ties the second wettest October per Grampa’s rain gauge at 8.5 inches.  Our wettest October was 2012 with 9.25″.

On October 30 we had rare beautiful sunny morning.  The sun was glowing through a fog layer, and it looked like there was a fire behind our trees.

Just gorgeous!
