I bring food to work. I have learned that good food is a motivator. And I function better if I eat regularly. I usually bring some farm food but the other day it was almost exclusively grown on our farm. I had fresh pressed apple cider, roast beef with squash and green beans, somewhat ripe tomatoes and cucumbers, fermented dill pickles and a fresh apple all from our farm. The only items that weren’t were the vinegar, oil and feta on the salad, the hunk of cheese that accompanied my pickle snack, and the coffee with milk and honey. So pretty good motivation for a 24 hour shift.
