It is a constant, but today was a doozy! We had the hardest rain I have ever seen here.
It was enough the drive the geese into the barn which is quite unusual. Then it started hailing.
After our weather was over, it looked nasty to the east.
Lightening strikes were recorded there. It was quite a day. I had to plan my barn activities versus my outdoor activities carefully.
I haven’t been able to plant my warm weather vegetables yet because it remains so cold. So I only have less than half of a garden so far. The rest remains in the greenhouse or hot house.

Wow! That was really some nasty weather!! I thought right away, that it would be unusual for your geese to be heading for shelter. And then the hail! How long did that last?
Your garden is looking good. I hope your weather warms soon, so the warm weather veggies can be planted.
It was nasty, even for geese. Fortunately the hail was at the very end and didn’t last long. It has been so cold.
Your photos are awesome. Don’t you find it amazing how animals know when the weather is going to be different and possibly dangerous. We had the same storm here on Saturday and the rain was so strong it was blowing sideways and wind felt like duratio we had in 2012, straight-line and tore down so many of our old fruit trees and large oak trees all over the farm. It got extremely quiet outside and the chickens went to their house and the cattle scattered to the woods.
Thanks. Your 2012 storm sounds really scary.
Your half garden looks great!!
Gotta have it gonna hate it ….rain.
I am going to save your rain comment. It is so perfect!
Thanks..it just came out like that. You are welcome to it.
