is today. Here is one of the first photos when we met her at exactly one month of age (and also Tom’s birthday).
We were smitten, and we have been ever since. I cannot tell you the joy (and sometimes frustrations) that she has brought us. We are so glad to have her in our lives.
So for her day, we went to pick out a Christmas tree. She loves going on rides and walks. Here she is at the Christmas tree farm.
A couple of trumpeter swans flew over while we were there.
And then I cooked a hamburger patty for her, and we sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
I hope she had a great day and will have many, many more.

Poppy’s 5th birthday is coming right up; I need to remember to give her the worthy celebration Ryeleigh got!
Not necessarily but she would probably enjoy it!
Dog’s gotta love ’em. They steal your heart , though.
They do steal your heart.
It’s hard to believe you’ve had Ryeleigh that long! I like to say that dogs are “wormer-inners” because they have a way of worming their way into our hearts! Ryeleigh is obviously one of those!! I’m sure she enjoys the times when she can go somewhere! She’s a sweetie!
It is hard to believe that it has been 4 years. Time flies. She has definitely wormed her way into our hearts.
