Weather!

Yesterday I had a class of third graders over to see fiber animals and sheep shearing. It was a torrential downpour with a lot of mud. It was also a noisy and exhausting experience. I hope that they learned something from the visit. After they left I sheared two more animals and crutched one. In the process I managed to nick two of them. I felt horrible about it but think it was because I was hungry, tired and sore. I need to learn from this experience but feel bad it caused my sheep some pain in the process.

Today I came home from work and found this scene- my husband on top of the roof. It was sunny and clear today, and he decided to clean the gutters and roof. I had been meaning to for a while but never seemed to find the time. So it’s nice to have the roof and gutters clean. I took this photo with my brand new iPhone- my new play thing. My call phone croaked so this was my excuse to get one. So it came in handy- documenting my husband’s roof cleaning efforts of a nice fall evening.
