Kids going home

Kids going home
The photo is of our goat kids where they like to hang out- in the hay feeder. Today three of our goat kids- Felix, Fang and ggoorrsstt- went to their new home. First they had to be given their medications (copper sulfate and amprolium), injected with wormer, have their hooves trimmed and then had their ears tattooed. Then they were placed in a kennel and driven south to their new home. They will meet their new goat buddies and explore their new home. It’s a bittersweet day for me- I know they will be spoiled rotten, but I will miss them terribly. Tom says we can’t keep them all, and he’s right, but it doesn’t make it any easier.
