Wool and Cider

I finally found time to skirt, judge, weigh and photograph the fleeces from the fall shearing.  I will list them on our Fiber for Sale site.

Today we did our last apple pressing for cider.  We used crab apples as well as cider apples (Tom Putt, Browns and Sweet Coppin).  We now have 11 more gallons of cider fermenting.

Your cider is the prettiest color! Must be the type of apples you use; when we press (for fresh frozen) it is the usual golden color….

That fleece looks pretty scrumptious, too!
