So the new barn camera was brought out to the barn for the first time today. It had taken a photo before (the new barn camera took a photo of the deceased one), but the real test of a barn camera is in the barn, not the dining room. So above is the first barn photo- capturing Patches’ breath this cool morning in the sunlight. Then there’s the ability to take “action” photo with dangerous critters:
That is the rams moving back to their winter pasture after breeding is over. Jocko is looking longingly at the ewes he did not get to meet this year.
Then there’s the land/sky scape photo:
So all and all the new barn camera is pulling its weight. It did not even leap out of my coat pocket into the mud nor slip under a goat hoof. So far, so good!
It looks like the new camera takes better pictures! See? It’s a GOOD omen…
Thanks Nancy- I sure hope so.
Happy 2012 and I pray it is A LOT better than your 2011 was!
really like how it captured the goat breath- Happy New Years!
Thanks Denise- Happy New Year!
I’d say it is doing an excellent job! I agree that picture of the goat breath is amazing!
Tanks Teresa! It was nice to see something interesting and whip out the barn camera and get a photo before the goat changed her mind.
I meant “Thanks”.
