Apple Pressing

So we pressed apples today.  Above are most of the crabapples we used.  I was the apple sorter, rinser and backup grinder.  Tom was the primary grinder

and presser.

We processed most of the crabapples and the dessert apples that are ready to make 25 gallons of cider.  We now have two carboys of cider started (as well as one of plum wine and one Island Belle grape wine).  The rest of the juice is being frozen for future use in blending for making hard cider.  We are both quite sore and tired after spending the entire day with apples.
