Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner.

beef

We bought a Dexter bull named Titan and had him butchered.  Today we picked up the beef.  We received 19 pot roasts (average 3.6 pounds), 4 rolled rump roasts (average 4 pounds), 12 packages of stew meat (average 2 pounds), 11 packages of rib steaks (average 1.7 pounds), 10 of sirloin steaks (average 1.7 pounds), 11 of T-bone steaks (average 1.8 pounds), 5 of sirloin tip steaks (average 2.4 pounds), 15 of soup bones (average 1.8 pounds), and 115 rolls of 1.5# of hamburger each.  That gives a total of 375 pounds of beef.  This represents a lot of dinners.
