So we went to Laughlin, Nevada to celebrate Tom’s parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We had a great time there, but it snowed while we were gone. We came home to a mess. Above was the pheasant pen. The snow weighed down their net, and it busted loose. The pheasants are all gone now. And below is our cows’ and rams’ pasture. It is a flooded mess. Basically streams of water are running through it. Very disheartening.
So sorry. This winter just seems to be horrible for everyone.
The weather has not been bad for us until now. Yours has been a lot worse.
Eeeks. Not fun coming home to that scene. This weather has been such a mess. I’m just relieved to have our power back on finally.
It was not a fun homecoming. Our power came on before we got home. Scary with two freezers full of meat.
