This year we had 2 inches of rain the weekend before shearing and another 0.4 inches before the sheep were kept in the barn prior to their hair cuts. Last spring was much wetter with 4.3. inches in the three weeks before shearing as opposed to 2.6 inches this year. So hopefully the fleeces will dry more easily this year. Here they are:
