I sold the spinning wheel I learned to spin on yesterday. I first got sheep in 1998 and then learned to spin their wool in 1999 after I bought this wheel. But since 2009 when my loving husband bought my miniSpinner for me, I have not spun with it. The only thing I have used it for is holding bobbins for plying and I am not even doing that anymore. The new owner, a very experienced spinner, promises to take good care of it for me which is better than I have done recently. So it is bittersweet to say goodbye.

now that i think about it,, I don’t think I’ve used any of my other wheels since The Man finished my e-spinner….
I hope it is not the demise of the spinning wheel. Seems unlikely though.
