These are photos of the mioget Shetland sheep we have had. (For those who are not Shetland breeders, mioget is the name giving to a golden brown color in some of these sheep.)
Jocko we got in 2002 in Montana from Judy Colvin. His registered name was Bitterroot Ansel.

Then we got Bing Bang Wink from Kim Kerley in 2005.

They together produced Wilma, born March 17, 2006. We still have Wilma although her parents passed of old age.

Then Jocko and Wink produced Wilhelmina and Winifred. They went to Joyce Thomas.

in 2008, out of Wilma came Barney and Bambam. Barney had inturning horns and had to be put down and Bambam showed promise but was killed by our donkey.

Next in 2009 from Wilma came Wild Thing and Wile E. Wild Thing moved to Maple Falls and Wile E. moved in with Alta west of us.

In 2010 Tinkerbell and Pixie Dust were born from Wink. They moved to John Park’s place in Marietta and were renamed Donna (after me) and Vanessa (after our dog)

Then in 2012 came Bambam Too from Wink.

In 2013 WIlly and Wonka were born from Wink. Willy moved to Sedro Wooley east of us and Wonka moved to Hoquiam.

And is 2015 our rams broke out and produced Harlen and Wendel. We will keep them so I can have mioget wool in my retirement years.

We have also had two mioget katmoget sheep over the years. We have Jemima and Ewegenie. They are both from our black katmoget ewe Jenny and Jocko.
