Just some random pictures. The first is our somewhat pathetic carrot harvest.
Next is our peacock being annoyed by the turkeys. He will be much happier after next Tuesday.
Big hog butts.
Shortly after taking this photos I stepped on a nail sticking out of a board in the garden. It went through my boot, thick wool sock and into my foot. The board had come off the greenhouse in a windstorm, and I did not see it. So I got to stop all chores and go to the doctor, but it turned out my tetanus shots are up to date. I managed to forget that I had one earlier this year.
Well, at least your tetanus is current! 😉
At least. Now hopefully I do not get pseudomonas osteomyelitis.
Love the hog butts
Thanks Kathy! Me too.
i did that same thing as a kid down at my grandparents’ farm. glad your tetanus is up to date. puncture wounds are kind of a pain to get healed up as I remember.
There is a real risk of serious infection, even into the bone. Thankfully my foot seems fine now.
