Growing Up

Today I noticed that the chicks are growing up.  They are starting to roost in their weasel-proof pen.

I also noticed Sydney (our 2016 calf) and Bug (our January calf) are getting bigger.

Then I noticed something on Sydney.

A teat!  And then I noticed some udder development.

So our little Sydney is now a cow and going to calve this summer.  Here she is just last year:

And then, of course, I have to add Miss Maddie Moo.

How exciting that Sydney is expecting! really glad the reinforced pen is working out for the chicks.

Oh my! And I don’t suppose there’s any way you can figure out when Sydney would be due, either!
I’m amazed at how much your chicks have grown! They look so good. And that little Maddie Moo is just adorable!

She is due between June 27 and September 30. The chicks are looking really good and a fun variety of colors. Maddie always looks cute. I think she knows it.
