Glorious Rain!

It is hard to show rain in photographs, particularly with my barn camera.  Here is the rain over our vegetable garden:

And here is raindrops in the goats’ water bucket:

This rain is sorely needed.  We have had 0.3 inches of rain per grampa’s rain gauge since July 1.  It may not be enough to make the grass grow, but it might not get browner (for one day anyway).  And, more importantly, maybe it will help the fires
