Local Yarn Shop Tour

My friend Pam and I went on this tour. We started with Stilly River Yarns in Stanwood. I have wanted to visit since they opened. Then we went to Perfectly Knotty in Arlington where I bought bamboo yarn and this pattern.

Then we went to to Great Yarns in Everett where I bought cotton yarn. Then we went to Country Yarns in Snohomish where they had these lovely project ideas.

We had a nice lunch at the Oxford Saloon. We then headed to Serial Knitters in Kirkland and Quintessential Knits in Duvall.

We then went to Tolt Yarn and Wool in Carnation where I have wanted to visit for a long time.

We ended our tour at All Wound Up in Edmonds. Here is my loot.

At each shop they had buttons and free patterns. Most had free snacks as well. Here is my button collection.

The tour was fun, particularly with Pam. I would recommend it to any fibery folks in the area.

sounds like fun! I’ve wanted to visit Tolt for a long time too- but never find myself in the neighborhood. So many nice yarn stores in the area!

LOTS of yarn stores in your area – I think your loot shows great restraint!

We drove a distance to hit these 8 shops. But there are some closer ones that I have already been to. There are 24 shops on this tour in total. I did show amazing restraint, but Pam was more supportive of the shops that I was. I do have lots of yarn already though.

So special🌟🌟🌟now if the now gone fiber/wool shop in the University district still existed……😊

You’re right. However, the miles used up for the travel, is makes the cost prohibitive
