Gramma White’s Pork Chop Casserole Recipe

I made this for dinner Friday night. We have lots of chops in the freezer, and it seemed like good comfort food. Tom braved the stores and purchased Granny Smith apples and canned sweet potatoes for us. He did say the canned food aisle was almost empty so good for us he found them. Something I have never bought before. Here is the dish all assembled.

I cooked it at 350 for an hour and then broiled it for browning. Here it is all done.

We both thought it was good and comforting. Nothing too exotic but easy and tasty. So I will save this one and possibly buy canned sweet potatoes again someday. Thanks Gramma!

Oh my goodness, does that ever sound yummy!! I’ve copied it and we’ll try it if we can find some canned sweet potatoes! I should say WHEN we can find some canned sweet potatoes!

    Thanks!

Well we found the sweet potatoes, but now to find apples that Marlys can tolerate. That’ll be the problem, especially now that stores are getting more empty!
