Pandemic Friday Night

So how do you celebrate the end of a week during a pandemic? This is how we did it yesterday. I did have to work the next day so I did my normal pre-work routine of cleaning the house and taking a bath. But then I got into pajamas and Tom ordered pizzas from one of our favorites, Annie’s Pizza in Concrete. And we took the hot rod out to get our pizzas. Here I am cruising along. I did put on a sweater for some warmth. My face is still red from the bath.

Here we are cruising through Sedro-Woolley.

And here is Annie’s. Tom got the pizzas as he was in real clothes. We paid for them with the last of my birthday cash present, trying to support local restaurants.

Here we are heading back. You can see my PJ bottoms.

There was a large herd of elk in this field. The photo does not do it justice.

Then we had our pizzas. Tom’s was all meat, of course. Mine was Canadian bacon, pineapple and maraschino cherry. We ate and watched more Shaun the Sheep.

Then we sat in our wood fired hot tub and listened to the sounds of nature before heading to bed. So that is our exciting pandemic Friday night.

Way to go, Donna! I like your jammies! I must say though, that I’ve never heard of adding maraschino cherries to a Canadian bacon, pineapple pizza!! is that your favorite?

Oh good! I feel better now! It nearly turned my stomach to think of those ultra sweet cherries on a pizza!!
