Dutch Babies and Football

I was watching Mossback’s Northwest last week and learned about the history of Dutch Babies in Seattle. I knew then I wanted to make them this weekend. I researched recipes and chose this one from the Seattle Times because it seemed authentic. I made a smallish one like the original,

And I made a bigger one for Tom.

I squeezed a lemon wedge and sprinkled powdered sugar on top, again trying to be authentic. I took a bite before the photo.

Tom put butter and maple syrup on his.

They were both really good. And it was fun exploring Seattle’s culinary history again.

As promised I watched football. Plus I knitted and am cooking a rump roast for dinner. It was a nice relaxing day.

Getting excited about Sunday Night Football. Go Hawks!!!!!

Was kind of weird with no fans in the stadium, but a good game nonetheless. Hawks are off to a good start this year!
