Here is some of the flora around our Boles trailer this time of year.
Here are the photos that Tom took. His camera is much better than mine.
Here is some of the fauna.

I am sorry that the video is so shaky. I was holding a beagle’s leash.
So many pretty wildflowers!
Thanks Michelle- they were gorgeous! Donna
Your pictures of the flowers are so beautiful! I’m glad you got to enjoy so many! Tom’s are lovely, too. What kind of camera do you use? I have gotten to where I mostly use my cell phone to take pictures. I have a nice Olympus that I rarely use anymore.. Shame on me, right?
It sounded like you had a really great time up there. Can you tell me about the old bus?
Jeanne
I have a Canon EOS Rebel T1i, and Tom has a Linux. I think real cameras take better photos than the cell phones we use, but the newer phones may be better. I do not know. We did have a great time. We stay on my father’s property, and one of his neighbors bought a property down lower for water access and got this bus with the deal. He hauled it up to his property and plans on making a camper out of it. Tom says 1958 or 1959 Ford bus. Donna
I don’t know a thing about Canon cameras or Linux cameras either. My dear husband had a great German made Voigtlander which he bought in Germany when he was there in the Army in the early 50s. It’s absolutely adorable, and takes really good pictures. Of course it takes film, which makes it complicated these days. I have a great nephew who would like to have it, so I’m going to give it to him.
Your recipes from your stay at the Boles were yummy looking. I just looked through that again.
Your dad’s neighbor was lucky to get that great old bus, and I’m sure he’ll enjoy it when he gets to use it as a camper. I get a big kick out of old buses. 1958 is the year Ron and I were married!
Take care! I look forward to your next blog.
Jeanne
That is nice about the camera and that you have a great nephew interested in it. The neighbor is lucky. We weren’t sure it was going to make it up the mountain but it did. I am glad you are enjoying the blog. Donna
