I had been considering what type of watch I wanted since my beloved Swiss Army one died after many years of use/abuse. I finally decided I should get an Apple Watch with a warranty once I saved up enough to afford it. I thought it would be good to have given my recent tendency to get disabled doing farm chores ( from dehydration and falls). Plus I know people with health issues similar to mine that find it helpful to track their activities, heart rate and oxygen levels. So these features caused me to want this watch over another Swiss Army one.

But my husband surprised me yesterday when I was at work. He has been successfully fixing up and selling vintage motorcycles. So he wanted to do something nice for me with some of this money. So he bought me this watch and texted me if I could meet him in the hospital parking lot at lunch. And he handed over this watch. I cannot put into words how much this warmed my heart, that he would be so caring to do this. I felt like it showed how much he loves me.

He was told my iPhone charger would work for it, but I only had the older style chargers. So I couldn’t play with my watch yesterday which is probably for the best. But I am playing with it now and enjoying it. I already have 6 different watch faces for it. This one is my favorite so far.

So it is a new phase in my barn watch saga. Hopefully this one will hold up.
