The Case of the Missing Eyeballs

I found an eyeball in the garden the other day and thought I had solved the case of the Case.  One had already been found One of the Missing Eyes, and I thought this was the second one.

But it turns out this looks nothing like the one that went missing.  Now I do not know where this one came from.  Curiouser and curiouser.

In other news, I took the dogs out to the back four acres today, and the sheep definitely took notice.

There were quite a few vultures flying overhead but not sure what has died.

And the new pigs like bagels.  This is really good news as some of our recent pigs have not liked bread products.

We have figured out that Huey has a pink spot on her nose, and Louie has a left-turned tail (unlike the other two).  Dewey is a go-getter, chasing the other larger pigs away from the feed.  So far, so good.

that is very interesting about the eyeballs disappearing and reappearing. my guess would be crows or ravens. but it does make you wonder if they are redistributing eyeballs across a wider area! perhaps your neighbors are missing some as well?

That really is a puzzle! I have no idea what is behind all of it/ Maybe someday you’ll find another one.
