Was today. It was a 9:30 appointment so we had to wake up early.
You could almost see in both stadiums from the waiting room.
There was a new painting there too.
He met with the burn surgeon and decided against laser surgeries at this time. Then he received his custom fit compression glove and sleeve. He is happy with them. He will need to wear them 23 hours per day until he’s fully healed ( about 1 year). Here they are heading out of Harborview.
It has been quite an almost 5 month journey, but he is doing really well. We only need to follow up if there are problems. We do have an appointment with Otolaryngology in September to evaluate his damaged voice.
So glad he’s healing well, but I didn’t realize his voice was damaged, too.
Thanks Michelle! Yes it was. We don’t know if it was from the smoke inhalation or the intubation. We are hoping to get an idea of what to do to help it improve.
