Today after we did animal chores and fixed some fencing we came in from the rain and wind and pressed cider. We had done a smaller pressing in October from our apples that were ready then and placed them into six 2-liter bottles with EZ caps that we tried for the first time. Today we pressed the rest of our apples with crabapples we got from a apple orchard in Orondo. We got about 7 gallons today and have it in two carboys with water locks. It must be contagious because now my mother has a carboy of apple cider brewing as well.
