So the last 2 days were a whirlwind of Christmas family gatherings. Today is a calm, quiet day on the farm for me. Since this is a farm blog I will highlight the farm-related presents I received for Christmas: insulated overalls, mineral block holders, hand warmers, boot dryer, and heated hose. Most of these presents are designed for cold days on the farm and are well appreciated. I also received decorative chicken items: a trivet, clock and wall hangings. Wine and books were also popular presents for me this year. A very good holiday for me and the best part is knowing that all of my presents were selected with love.

Is it better to get something one wants or something one needs? Wouldn’t it be nice if the two were the same more often than not?
I am just happy if it is something they want;)
What a great Christmas when you get what you want and need! I love the picture. Are those Toulouse geese?
It is great to get useful stuff, plus it shows the thought that went into it. They are Toulouse and Pilgrim geese.
